Terms of Purchase and Service

1. General information

These terms and conditions of purchase (hereinafter referred to as the Terms and Conditions) set out the procedure for purchasing participation in on-site excursions and classes (hereinafter referred to as Events) taking place in the Kalnciema Quarter and its partners’ territories, as well as the rights and obligations of the Parties.

By making a purchase on the platform, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms.

2. Description of the service

The Organizer offers:

on-site excursions,

on-site master classes,

and other service products,

which take place in the Āgenskalns market area, on the specific date and time indicated in the description of the respective Event.

The content, duration, price, and number of participants for each Event are specified separately for each Event.

3. Purchase and payment procedure

3.1. Participation in the Event is considered reserved after full payment has been received.

3.2. Payment is made on the platform using the payment methods offered there.

3.3. The price is indicated in euros (EUR) and includes all applicable taxes, unless otherwise specified.

4. Cancellation and refund

4.1. The buyer has the right to cancel participation in the Event:

no later than [48 hours] before the start of the Event, receiving a full refund;

if canceled later or if the buyer does not show up at the Event, the payment will not be refunded.

4.2. The Organizer has the right to cancel or postpone the Event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, security concerns, force majeure). In such a case:

The Buyer will be offered a full refund or

the opportunity to participate in the Event on another date.

5. Changes to the Event

The Organizer reserves the right to make minor changes to the Event program (e.g., content, sequence of events) if this does not affect the essence of the Event.

6. Participant’s obligations and responsibilities

6.1. The participant is obliged to:

arrive at the Event on time,

comply with the rules of the Organizer and Kalnciema Quarter,

behave respectfully towards other participants and the premises.

6.2. Participation in the Event is at the Participant’s own risk. The Organizer is not responsible for personal belongings or injuries caused by failure to follow safety instructions.

7. Intellectual property

The content, materials, methodology, and visual materials of the masterclasses are the intellectual property of the Organizer, unless otherwise indicated.
Their reproduction, distribution, or use for commercial purposes without written permission is not permitted.

8. Personal data

Personal data is processed solely for the purposes of organizing the Events in accordance with applicable data protection regulations (GDPR).

9. Applicable law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
All disputes shall be resolved through negotiation, but if no agreement is reached, they shall be resolved in a Latvian court.
