Open since 1898, Āgenskalns Market is the largest and oldest market on the left bank of the Daugava River and a national cultural monument. The historical pavilion underwent an extensive restoration from 2018 to 2022.

Getting There from the City Centre
The market is a direct ride from the city centre (departing from the 13. janvāra iela stop).
Take: Bus 4, 7, 8, or 21 (among several others)
Get off at: Āgenskalna tirgus (~9–11 min ride)
Walk: One of the side entrances is right by the bus stop, and the main entrance is less than 100 meters away.

Quick Tip: If you want to hop on a different bus, just check the physical printed schedules at the stop and look for any route that lists Āgenskalna tirgus as an upcoming destination!
