Kalnciema Quarter’s Wine Shop and Café is a place of tranquillity and repose where you can enjoy Italian wines from small Marche vineyards, a cup of sustaining coffee or cocoa and homemade snacks. The café is housed in a restored 19th-century building that represents the late-Classicism epoch of Riga’s wooden architecture heritage. In summer the coffee and wine can be enjoyed in the orchard under an apple tree.
The premises are equipped with a changing table and are friendly for families with children. Free Wi‑Fi is available and the team welcomes both casual conversations and business meetings.
The Wine Shop & Café is open Monday–Friday 10 AM–6 PM and Saturdays 10 AM–4 PM, closed on Sundays.

Visiting the historic wooden architecture, cafe, and wine shop of Kalnciema Quarter is a quick, direct trip from the city centre (departing from the 13. janvāra iela stop).
Take: Bus 22, 32, 43, or Trolleybus 9
Get off at: Melnsila iela (10–13 min ride)
Walk: Less than 200 meters from the stop to the Quarter.
